Final Fantasy Resonance

How Long to Beat Final Fantasy Resonance?

The quick answer

Allow about 30–40 hours for the main story. A launch trophy guide estimates 50–60 hours for Platinum, which does not require every optional item or high-level challenge.

Main story and trophy estimates

Goal Time to allow What the estimate means
Main story About 30–40 hours Square Enix’s stated expectation; optional content adds time
Story plus selected side quests Longer than the main-story estimate There is no single reliable range for every mix of exploration and side content
PlayStation Platinum About 50–60 hours A launch trophy-guide estimate, including substantial side content and collecting
Every item and optional high-level challenge No reliable total established here Platinum requirements are not the same as collecting absolutely everything

The story has eight chapters. Dialogue reading, battle difficulty, time spent mastering Visions and exploration all affect the time on your save.

Why Platinum is not the same as 100 percent

The trophy route needs 89 of 99 Tablet Shards, the first three Colosseum leagues, and the initial Legendary Arms trials. It does not require all 99 shards, Champion League, or every upgraded “+” Legendary Arm.

If you want every piece of equipment and every optional challenge, budget beyond a trophy-focused run rather than treating 50–60 hours as a promise.

If you played the Demo

The Demo covers Chapter 1, so a carried-over save already contains part of the full adventure. Do not add the entire first chapter again when planning your remaining playtime.
