Main progression and unlocks
- Defeat Siren, return to Grandport, complete the Awakening lesson and save.
- Collect five Visions: story rewards Tronn and Leah, plus Warrior of Light, Terra and Cloud from sanctums.
- Obtain Siren through the Chapter 1 story. Do not count the full game’s nine Espers as Demo collectibles.
- Collect the chapter’s 12 Tablet Shards if you want a head start on palace rewards.
None of this requires grinding every character to level 15 or every Vision to MR5. Those are reported Demo caps, not save-transfer eligibility requirements.
Four side quests

Secrets Unearthed rewards Monk’s Prayer Beads, a useful source of Charm protection for Siren.

Optional battles and training
The Marauder Cave boss and Antlion are optional challenges. If you cannot defeat them comfortably, you can return in the full game.
Give the Siren’s Tower Citrine Pot an Ether targeted at the enemy. Equip the Visions you want to train before the fight; the reward is one-time.
Do not assume experience earned after hitting a Demo cap is a bank you can cash in later. Later chapters provide better training opportunities. This checklist covers the named activities, not every rare equipment drop or every overworld pickup.
