Where to find Cloud
In Chapter 1, explore Grandshelt and find Cavern of Swords. Cloud’s Sanctum of Light is southwest of the cave. If you are still in the opening sequence, advance the story until you can explore the region freely.
Enter the sanctum, interact with the crystal and answer the three questions. Any choices give you Cloud. Check the Visions menu afterward and equip him on the character you want to use.
Cloud is a Vision, not a permanent party member. His unlock does not require a code, a paid draw or a battle against Cloud.
What Cloud does in battle
| Skill | Starting availability | Use |
|---|---|---|
| Thunder Surge | Zero Awakening stars; 5 MP | Lightning physical attack with damage power 1 and Stagger power 3 |
| Water Surge | Zero Awakening stars; 5 MP | Water physical attack with the same power values |
| Libra | Available in Cloud’s skill set | Check enemy information |
Cloud is a Breaker: use the relevant element to reduce an enemy’s Stagger gauge. Lightning makes him particularly useful against Chapter 1’s Siren.
Who should equip Cloud?
Rain or Lasswell can use him early, depending on which character is handling protection or healing. When Lid joins, Cloud is also an option for her if the team needs Lightning and Water coverage.
Mastery belongs to each character–Vision pairing. A lower MR after moving Cloud to another character does not mean the original character’s progress was lost. Awakening stars, however, are shared.
For alternatives, see Vision pairings and the Siren battle guide.
