There is no wrong answer for the Vision reward
Enter a Sanctum of Light, interact with its crystal and answer all three questions. Your choices do not make you lose that sanctum’s Vision or lock you out of the reward.
Some choices change the closing evaluation. They do not change which Vision you receive. Interacting again is not a way to collect a second copy.
Which Vision does each group of sanctums give?
| Region and access | Sanctum rewards |
|---|---|
| Grandshelt, Chapter 1 | Warrior of Light, Terra, Cloud |
| Dirnado, Chapter 2 | Zidane, Noctis, Onion Knight |
| Olderion, Chapter 3 | Firion, Tidus, Squall |
| Zoldaad, Chapter 4 | Shantotto, Cecil, Y’shtola |
| Grandshelt, airship required | Clive |
| Mysidia, airship required | Vaan, Bartz, Lightning |
See all Vision locations for the landmarks. Tronn, Leah, Sephiroth and the quest Visions use other unlock routes; the sanctum rule does not remove their requirements.
Story dialogue is a different system
Do not apply “any answer gives the same reward” to every conversation. Some story dialogue choices give different small stat bonuses. Those are separate from the sanctum’s three questions.
You can therefore choose a sanctum answer for its meaning without searching for a nonexistent perfect-reward sequence, while still checking choices in a character’s story event.
